Calit2 (California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology) is one of four California Institutes for Science and Innovation.  A four-story, 184,000 sq. ft. laboratory and educational facility on the UC Irvine main campus. The building houses clean rooms on the 1st floor, nano-technology and other specialty labs on the 2nd floor, and offices on the 3rd and 4th floors. There is a lecture hall in the north wing of the building. 

Murray Company designed and installed systems that include traditional plumbing, high purity water, deionized water, laboratory air, laboratory vacuum, house cleaning vacuum, acid waste, fuel gas, high purity nitrogen, and specialty laboratory gases.
