Partners,

On behalf of McCarthy Building Companies, I would like to formally extend our appreciation and gratitude to each of you for your part in helping us reach our Substantial Completion milestone for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Medical Center – Multi-Service Ambulatory Care Center Project (MACC) today (Substantial Completion letter officially dated October 11, 2013). While we still have some work left ahead of us to bring this project to a successful close, the amount of energy and effort demonstrated by all team members (especially in these last few months) has been nothing less than remarkable. This has been a true demonstration of teamwork and is an accomplishment that we should all be proud of. Not only did we meet the mark on schedule, but we delivered a best in class medical facility to the County of Los Angles that will serve the broader community long after we are gone. Most importantly, we did so in a manner that achieved a remarkable safety record and upheld a core value of McCarthy’s. That is a true testament to the dedication and perseverance of each of our partners and team members.

Thanks to each of you that have contributed your efforts into making this accomplishment a reality and please pass along McCarthy’s gratitude to any members of your team I may have missed on this correspondence as their contribution is equally as important. As we move into the final stages of the closeout process by completing the remaining punch list, commissioning, and work scope/change order work, McCarthy looks forward to your continued diligence in the realm of safety, teamwork and quality.

Thank you again, and congratulations to all!
