Project Description: The Vermont Office Tower Project Site 1 plans for a 22-story high-rise commercial office building near downtown Los Angeles which includes office space and an 11-story parking structure on Shatto Place. This glass structure is mixed-use with a lobby, retail space and restaurants on street level, an amenity deck and connecting bridge to an adjacent garage.

This project is home to more than a million square feet of Los Angeles County-owned and leased office space. The Vermont Corridor is an innovative public-private partnership that has transformed a two-block area of once neglected County resources into a modern complex that is already beginning to revitalize the community.

This is the first of three exciting projects beginning with the Gensler-designed Department of Mental Health headquarters. Future phases of redevelopment are anticipated to include a five-story multifamily building offering 74 market rate units while Site 3 will include the construction of affordable and senior housing.
