Project Description:  The project formerly known as Sunset Millennium is located in West Hollywood on Sunset and La Cienega are made up of two parcels referred to as East and Middle. The East parcel consists of two high-rise towers, both 10-story hotels connected at the lobby consisting of 291 hotel rooms and three levels of underground parking, gross square footage of 475,500. The Middle parcel consists of two high-rise towers, both 8-story condos connected at the lobby consisting of 190 condo units with 3 levels of underground parking, gross square footage of 513,600.

The design schedule is very aggressive with 100% Construction Documents due within a short time frame. The project duration is 24 months and began October 1, 2013.

Murray Company was awarded the Sunset La Cienega project with Suffolk Construction. It was a long pursuit, including competition against non-union bids, but in the end our reputation in the industry as a premier design-build contractor, our experience in the industry and relationship with the architect and other subcontractors won the project. Most importantly, the owner liked our interaction with each other during our final interview, stating “it seems like you guys really like working with each other and you get along well, I like that!”
